About Fire Ratings
Windows and doors for BAL designated areas
Australian Standards for Building Regulations for renovating and building in bushfire hazard designated BAL zones were adopted by Victoria and the ACT after the devastating Black Saturday fires of February 2009. The Standards have now also been adopted by NSW, and the other states.
