Noise Reducing Units
Maximising noise level reductions
Standard Paarhammer windows provide significant noise reductions over conventional single-glazed windows. However, to achieve noise reductions of 45dB (80-90 percent), we use a thicker laminated glass or specially formulated acoustic glass as part of our double glazing for maximum sound protection.
The special glass, a possible second seal and carefully measured air infiltration combine significantly to maximise the sound barrier of our highly sound insulated windows and doors.
Choice of glass and sealing can virtually eliminate noise
The average single-glazed window has a sound barrier of only 23-25 percent. Paarhammer windows and doors have excellent sound insulation with a sound barrier of up to 45dB. This reduces noise levels by approximately 80-90 percent.
