From small beginnings, Paarhammer moved to a new purpose-built 4500m2 facility in 2010 which features a state of the art timber recycling system that produces hot water and heating during the cold winter months. A new spacious training area for customers and staff is also in place.
Paarhammer supplies windows and doors Australia-wide from the manufacturing facility in Ballan, Victoria. Why we chose Ballan you are welcome to see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzrnIUPQi0o

We are deeply committed to a sustainable future
Our commitment to good environmental outcomes goes beyond our products:
Our new manufacturing facility is just one example of how we aim to keep as low a carbon footprint as possible. There is Light Management to reduce electricity needs, and Waste Management where even our wood shavings are being recycled into wood briquettes that are used to provide hot water and heat our factory during the winter month, with the rest offered to the public. This reduces landfill by about 1700m3 per year, around 2/3 of an Olympic sized swimming pool. Read more
In 2008 we became Victoria's first FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) approved window manufacturer (Trademark Licence Code: FSC-C015342). You can order your windows and doors with FSC® Chain of Custody certification (SCS-COC-001887) or made in plantation timbers. Read more
Most Paarhammer products are offered stained or spray painted. We use Adler paints which are especially formulated for longevity on windows and doors. These paints are water based and contain low to very low VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). Also the Cutek oil used for bushfire products is low VOC. The use of low VOC finishes, rather than finishes with higher VOC levels, translates to a reduction in the emissions in your home and a better indoor environment for health and wellbeing. Read more
