Job Vacancies:

Labourer / Sander

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated person who likes to work in a team. A full-time or part-time position by arrangement, could also be during school hours.

Paarhammer has manufactured energy efficient and bushfire safe windows and doors since 1990, worked on stunning projects Australia-wide and received several awards. The growing company now employs over 20 staff in a modern facility at the Ballan Industrial Estate.

On-the-job training is provided in-house. This position includes sanding and assembling basic components to working on prestigious projects.

Apprentice

  • Learn to work on computer operated machines
  • Learn to work with a spray-painting robot
  • Learn the ins and outs of double and triple glazed windows and doors
  • Learn how to achieve energy efficiency and bushfire safety
  • Learn from assembling basic components to working on prestigeous projects

  • On-the-job training and other training needs are completed in-house, together with Fed Uni TAFE. Paarhammer has manufactured energy efficient windows and doors since 1990 in a modern factory in the Ballan Industrial Estate, and we deliver Australia-wide.

    Marketing and Admin Assistant

    This opportunity involves social, web and print media along with general office duties. You must have experience and passion, initiative and a ‘can-do approach’, but most of all, love what you are doing! A full-time or part-time position by arrangement, could also be during school hours.

    About the role

    You will be involved in all aspects of further developing and implementing our marketing campaigns for sustainable, energy efficient and bushfire safe windows and doors to building professionals and end consumers, Australia-wide.

    • Assisting with creation and management of social media platforms, online and print advertising
    • Management of the marketing database
    • Increasing consumer awareness and knowledge about Paarhammer and all products offered
    • Ad hoc administration duties

    Other duties:

    • Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels - written, phone, face-to-face
    • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
    • Attention to detail needed for creating adverts and articles, and strong copywriting skills
    • Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required but also show initiative to work autonomously
    • Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frames given and carry out duties in an efficient and timely manner
    • Prepare clear reports for presentations & discussions at meetings

    Requirements:

    • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Adobe Suite, as well as social media channels
